Los Angeles South Chamber of Commerce Opposes the 105 FasTrak as Caltrans and Metro Board Bypass the South Los Angeles Community Again

Caltrans: California Department of Transportation and Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority

Caltrans and the Metro board have proposed a project that would install a new FasTrak lane to the 105 freeway.
Impact
  • Will bypass potential economic opportunities for developing and improving our communities.
  • LASCC's provides recommendations to help address many issues which plague the 105 freeway, and could be incorporated into the new project proposals and  help significantly uplift the communities affected.
*The new proposals continues to exacerbate the same issues, further reducing economic opportunities, while increasing environmental hazards.
