BizFed Pulse Poll 2024
BizFed's annual data-gathering project helps diagnose critical issues impacting business growth. Metro I-105 Walk AUdit
Arnie attended a walk audit on behalf of LASCC, regarding concerns with the 105 freeway express lanes. The audit included taking a ride with other community member, accompanied by Metro staff starting from Avalon Station. The walk included discussions regarding issues with traffic, noise, and crime around the perimeter of the station.

- Seeks to continuously improve the accuracy of health care coverage directories from 60% accurate on January 1, 2024 to 95% accurate on or before January 1, 2027. Learn More

- Restores Proposition 58 and Proposition 193 to the state constitution, restoring the ability of parents to transfer property to their children upon death, without triggering a reassessment and increase in property taxes. Learn More

SB-581 Third-party litigation financing (2023-2024)
- Creates transparency and accountability for companies that engage in third party litigation financing (TPLF), that lends money to injured plaintiffs in order for them to charge exorbitant interest rates and fees. Learn More

SCAQMD: Boiler Electrification
- SCAQMD is considering a phase out of all natural gas boilers and water heaters for small and large businesses and multifamily units starting 2029. Learn More

SB-767 Elementary Education: Kindergarten (2023-2024)
